About Me

Jacob Erdody is an actor, singer, and dancer from southern New Hampshire. Jacob began performing at the age of 7, with his first role being the Munchkin Coroner in The Wizard of Oz. He grew up performing at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he was also involved in their Teen Company training program.

He continued his training at Western Connecticut State University, where he will graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre this May. While in school, he studied under Broadway performers and industry professionals such as Mary Ann Lamb, John Hickok, Scott Wise, Elizabeth Parkinson, Megan Osterhaus, Tim Howard, Justin P. Cowan, and Phillip George. In addition to stage performance, Jacob also studied on-camera acting with Matt Newton, owner of MN Acting Studio in New York City.

In 2023, Jacob starred in the short film Major Tom, which went on to be recognized at the Rome International Movie Awards, the NewFilmmakers NY 2024 festival and the REEL East Texas 2024 Film Festival. In the summer of 2024, he made his professional stage debut in Chicago at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.

Outside of the performing arts, he enjoys playing piano, drawing, building Legos, video editing, and annoying his cat.

Jacob recently closed his final show at Western Connecticut State University, playing Franz/Dennis/US George in Sunday in the Park with George. Jacob will be graduating this May.
